I ordered over $600 worth of goods and I received a box today it came in damaged when I called customer service he proceeded to tell me that it was my fault and that he could not give me a refund or exchange any of the items that were broken one of the most horrific customer service experiences I have ever had
This company is co fishy... Placed an order and thankfully, decided to check the status of it, just to notice that my order was canceled with no warning. I contacted customer service, just so they can tell me that it was the system that canceled the order for being "fraudulent" but yet I never received any email saying anything of this... also... "the order was canceled by the system" but didn't refunded me my money. Beware, they are trying to scam you.

I placed an order 2 months ago and still I have not received the order, it has not been shipped and there is not a contact number to reach anyone. The order only says preparing.
Horrible customer service, said it was my fault that I put in wrong address. My order went to Nebraska. I put in address for Dripping Springs, Texas. Said it was my fault because I didn’t put in Drive in the address. Will not give me a refund or send item. Stay away from this Company!
I was a seller of my work on Uncommongoods for over three years. Everything was good on the first two years. I added a new product to the one that was already selling and was doing okay. Then I wanted to add more options to that collection and after many attempts to contact the senior buyer I was working with, there was no communication or feedback on the emails I sent. Total communication breakdown. Uncommongoods also will try to squeeze your pricing very low to get into their print catalog (I had to discount 60% from retail to get in there) then when time comes to get paid, (they are very good at) unfortunately again, they will pay you at a 2% discount (to them) on what you already give them as discount on your products. Then for some reason my first product disappeared from their marketplace "product unavailable"... My second product was still there but running low after selling over 100 pieces over the holidays so I had to email them to warn about low inventory as I did several times in the past (that should not have been my job by the way...) again no answers from anyone. I decided to contact via email the junior buyer for my product type and finally got a reply saying my product were not going to be carried anymore because of slow sales... What? I just sold over 100 pieces a couple months ago... Slow sales? And no contacting me to tell me they were going to discontinue my products when I have made inventory just for Uncommongoods!. So you have it... Uncommongoods make themselves sound like a great company to work with (for their employees which might be the case) but they are not taking care of the ones that make the products that pay their bills, the artisans making their products. So as an artisan, I would say, stay away from the deceivingly good company that uncommomngoods is saying they are.
i order 6 items after waiting 3 month they telling me the products are lost in trans i accept that i wanted a refund the delay about 3 months every time i contact them they telling me difrrent story they holding my money and refus to refund very bad comapny dont trust them
Do NOT order from this company. I paid for expedited shipping which meant it would arrive in 2 - 4 days in time for a online gift party I am having. Instead it is 9 days, three days after my event. They cannot ship a replacement overnight. How is that possible in 2021?? If they keep blaming the delay on USPS, maybe they should consider another means of shipping.
I ordered a good amount of items - about $300 worth.
The order never came, but a tracking link came saying it had been shipped on Dec 3rd.
I trusted that it would show. So I didn't keep checking back.
Turns out it never shipped. Customer Service just sent me a canned response with a page to "fix" it.
Looks like this happens to them ALOT, enough that they have a special page for it.
I received the the THIRD remake and the name is still slanted & too high up. UGoods requested another photo. I gave up. Just make mine like you're going to photograph it for your catalog.Uncommon Goods contacted me and advised that they would remake the hobby glass at no cost. I received the replacement and again the name is crooked and placed too high up on the glass. And instead of a red shirt they changed it to orange. I've contacted them and was asked to send a photo. I've done that and now my messages on this matter remain unanswered.I ordered a personalized hobby drinking glass to replace the one I accidentally broke. The name was placed on the glass crooked and way up at the top at the rim. I was completely dissatisfied with this item I paid almost $40.00 for. I contacted them and their solution to my dissatisfaction was for me to pay 50% for a replacement plus shipping and tax.
Uncommon Goods has the worst customer service. My order never arrived and each time I called they kept extending the deadline for arrival. They contract shippers but apparently have no way of contacting their shippers (per 2 different reps I spoke with). I requested a refund one and a half weeks ago and am getting the same run around. Wait, wait, wait....... do not order from this company. You can find the same products elsewhere.
This is response to uncommon goods reply. You missed the point. USPS was not the problem. YOUR contracted shipper Pitney Bowes never passed the order to USPS. YOUR customer service claims not to be able to reach out to your contracted shippers. YOUR company has very poor business practices.
On December 3rd I placed 2 orders:
Order # 1390....
Order # 1390....
I was told they would be delivered NLT December 18th.
On December 16th, I was first told, "they had been shipped, but, were stuck and would not be delivered before Christmas." I was then told, "They were on back order until the end of January.
I asked for a REEFUND on both because they were Christmas gifts for a 12/23 family Christmas get together.
I was told I would be REFUNDED in 3-5 business days.
My REFUND confirmation numbers are:
217xxx
217xxx
I had to rebuy all of the gifts from somewhere else and replace them all.
On 12/21 I received an email stating that one of my gifts would be delivered after Christmas! And it thanked me for NOT asking for a REFUND.
I spoke with Sandra B and was told that it was an AUTO generated email and that I was DEFINITELY going to receive a REFUND.
On 12/23, I was told by Madeleine that I would receive my REFUND.
On 12/24 I received a refund on Order # 1390..., but, NOT on order # 1390.... I am still short the $72.31.
Today, 12/29/2020, I received BOTH BOXES!!! I CANCELLED this order and DO NOT want to pay for it since I had to rebuy everything!
Now, they are saying I have to pay for both boxes since delivered! Do NOT order from this company. Complete scam!
Thank you, Uncommon Goods! It's easy to make a customer happy when everything goes right. The fact that you made me happy and satisfied when everything went wrong is a tribute to your customer service team and company in general.
I sincerely appreciate how you handled my problem during this busy, crazy, Covid exasperated holiday season. It is unnecessary to get into the long details of what exactly happened. Sometimes things go wrong. What matters is that several members of your customer service department stepped up. All my grumbly e-mails were promptly answered, and you took the initiative to solve the problem in a professional, timely manner.
You have won over a customer for life and I certainly will strongly recommend your company to anybody in search of fun, unique and creative items.
Thinking of ordering something from here... do it! The products offered vary so some take longer than others to ship, however, you can track everything online and they will give a ship by date which I appreciate, saves from having to reach out to customer service especially if it's a gift. Shipping times were prompt, they try to pack as much of the order into one box to avoid multiple shippings and less waste. Prices are fair, photos and descriptions are accurate, and they have some great gifts that were indeed uncommon and definitely hits amongst my friends and family! Highly recommended! (They can even gift wrap most items and can ship one order to different addresses/locations!)
My first order went through fine, so I didn't suspect anything. I placed my next order on Thanksgiving with the assumption that it would arrive well before Christmas. After the maximum amount of days passed, I contacted their support chat and asked about my order. They said it was lost in the mail and that the items I had ordered were sold out. They offered to refund me. I took them up on that. I'm now on the last day for the refund to post and that hasn't posted either. Do not buy from this site for any reason. It's very upsetting that a website that connects users to artists is so utterly unable to get its act together.
